Tinubu Shakes Cabinet, Edun Out, Oyedele Takes Over Finance

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made fresh moves inside his cabinet, removing Wale Edun and Ahmed Musa Dangiwa from the Federal Executive Council.

Edun, who handled Finance and the economy, has been replaced by Taiwo Oyedele, who now steps up from Minister of State to take full control.

For Housing, Muttaqha Rabe Darma has been brought in as the new face, with a formal takeover process already in motion.

The directive is clear. Everything must be handed over before April 23.

According to George Akume, the reshuffle is about tightening coordination and pushing stronger delivery, especially on the economy.

But beyond the official explanation, one thing stands out.

This is a signal. Adjustments are ongoing, and more could follow.

Tinubu has also made it clear that this reinvigoration will not stop here.
