"I Won't Betray Your Trust," Edo Ward 9 Councillor Elect Musa Danjuma Tells Supporters

Councillor Elect for Ward 9, Anegbete, Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State, Comrade Musa Danjuma, has expressed profound appreciation to residents for their overwhelming support at the polls, promising not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him.

In a heartfelt thank you message to the people of Ward 9, Danjuma gave glory to God for a peaceful electoral process and thanked his family for their prayers, sacrifices and unwavering support throughout the campaign.

He also appreciated the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), from his polling unit and ward executives to the local government leadership led by Captain Philip Itsede (Rtd.), as well as the Edo State APC leadership under Emperor Jarret Tenebe, for their support.

The councillor elect further acknowledged the contributions of traditional rulers, community elders, opinion leaders, youths, women, volunteers, support groups and members of his campaign team, describing their encouragement as instrumental to his victory.

Addressing the people of Ward 9, Danjuma pledged to justify the mandate given to him.

«"I receive this mandate with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility. I assure you that I will not disappoint your trust. I will remain accessible, accountable and committed to ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt across every community," he said.»

He promised to serve every resident without discrimination, irrespective of political affiliation, religion, social status or clan, adding that the interests of Ward 9 would always come first.

Danjuma also called on residents of Anegbete and the entire Etsako Central Local Government Area to support the newly elected Executive Chairperson, Mrs. Dame Vera Sadoh, in the interest of peace, unity and development.

«"This victory belongs to all of us. Now is the time to put politics aside, embrace unity and work collectively for the progress of our people," he added.»

He concluded by thanking the people once again for their trust and prayers, promising to serve with integrity, loyalty, dedication and the fear of God.
