Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has formally declared her ambition to contest the 2027 Abia State governorship election, insisting that the people of the state have "no choice" but to elect her.

Speaking in a viral video that has sparked widespread reactions online, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship hopeful expressed confidence in her chances, declaring:

«"Abia has no choice. I'll be your governor."»

Ogala said her decision to join the race was driven by her desire to offer a new direction for the state, promising purposeful leadership if elected.
